Engineering Ceramic Co., Ltd. (EC®), a leader in ceramic technologies with over 30 years of experience, presents its high-performance Feed Through Insulators. Manufactured from high-purity alumina (99.7%) or Alumina Alsint 799, these insulators are designed to provide reliable sealing and electrical insulation for high-temperature sensors operating at 1800°C and above. By combining advanced ceramic materials with state-of-the-art sealing technology, EC® enables next-generation sensor designs for the most demanding industrial environments.
EC® Feed Through Insulators are fully custom-designed to specific requirements. Their superior robustness makes them the first choice for engine management systems, exhaust management technologies, temperature sensors, and pressure sensors. The feedthrough ceramic insulator bonds high-purity alumina ceramic with metal alloys, creating a vacuum-tight seal suitable for electrical power feedthrough applications. For different voltage and current requirements, EC® offers metal alloys such as stainless steel, copper, and nickel.
Feedthrough ceramic insulators are available in two styles:
• Style 1 – With/without electrodes: Offers a range of soft sealants along with ceramic insulators rated 2000V DC, 200A max. Soft sealants can be replaced at a future date if retrofitting is required.
• Style 2 – Single-piece PFA combined sealant: Integrates sealant and ceramic insulator in one unit, rated 8000V DC, 200A max.
